Photography as Interrupted Time. Thinking Photographing with Heidegger

Abstract

In this presentation, I discussed possible applications of early Heidegger to a description of the photographic act. This I realized through discussing Heidegger's notions of the "moment of vision", as well as his concepts of "present-at-hand" and "ready-to-hand".
