Abstrakt
The study deals with the attitude of the Holy See towards the events in Czechoslovakia in August 1968. It closely follows the reactions of the Pope Paul VI (1963-1978) and high Church dignitaries of Vatican on the eve, during and immediately after the invasion of the Warsaw Pact troops.
