Exploring the language of the Czech islanders abroad and strengthening their national consciousness

Abstract

In his paper presented at the 11th Congress of Czech Historians in Olomouc, the author deals with the history of exploring the language used on the Czech national islands in the world. It also highlights the positive role of the Czech state in promoting Czech language and Czech culture on these islands.

He also focuses on the possibilities of using the "Alphabet of Czech Cultural Studies" web portal in consolidating the national consciousness of Czech compatriots abroad.
