Abstract
The chapter bring the overview of natural conditions on the territory oft the town Zruč nad Sázavou in Bohemia from geological a nd geomorphological features to hydrology with emphasis to the Sázava river and its floods, further living nature especially potential and actual vegetation as well as nature protection including existing and proposed ecological network.
