Abstract

The article informs about the specific landscape and geomorphological unit Železné hory Mts. in Eastern Bohemia. Its delimitation, geological and geomorphological features, land cover, nature protection (landscape protected area and geopark) as well as other characteristic features of the region are briefly described.
