Abstract
The essay focuses on the relationship between historical anthropology and oral history in historical research of 20th century. The author examines the issue from the perspective of his own dissertation research, which is about the regional music subculture in the 1980s.
This article discusses historical development of oral history and historical anthropology, the common elements and differences of these two disciplines and their application in the context of historical research of musical subcultures.
