Abstract
Ths anthology of texts on Jan Zahradníček from the period of 1930-1960 outlines the variety of the responses to Zahradníček's works by assembling samples two key sources: first, contemporary reviews and criticism, and second, personal correspondence. Editorial comments also contains numerous quotatios from Zahradníček's correspondence, where the poet one or another way responds to the suggestions made in print or in private, and manifests a certain personal view.
