Protection of Possession in Roman Law and Modern Czech Civil Codes

Abstrakt

The development of possessory protection was explored in Roman law as well as in modern Czech civil codes. Although the topic was subject to many major changes, contemporary civil code is clearly inspired by Roman law theory.

It is remarkable that some ancient principles concerning protection of possession are applied even today.
