Two Examples of Non-Fundamentalist but Rooted Spirituality: Mother Maria Skobstova and Alexander Men

Abstract
This conference presentation shows how Father Alexander Men and Mother Maria Skobtsova each of them from a different context represent the encounter of the religious tradition with modernity. It shows how they found the middle way between the two reaction to the encounter: fundamentalism and liberalism (relativism) in its extremes, which covers their epistemology, cosmology, anthropology and also ecclesiology.
