The Spat-upon Face of God Jesus Christ as the Ancient of Days in the Apocalypse from the Book of Daniel

Abstract

This chapter deals with one of the likeness of the God according to the text of the Book of Daniel. The depiction of Ancient of Days were used especially in the Byzantine or Old Russian Church.

In the Western religious and culture world, this image helped to portray God the Father.
