British Inspiration for the Czech Civil Process - 20 years of Lord Woolf's reform of the British civilian process

Abstract

Recently the public purpose of the new form of civil proceedings was presented to the public. Like all past efforts, this intention was motivated by the effort to correct (well and less well known) the weaknesses of the recent state of law and practice in this area.

The following considerations recall that the same motivation was also the effort that, just 20 years ago, had fundamentally changed the form of civil disputes in the UK.
