Abstrakt
In this article I deal with the iconography of Christ's face "Not made by Hands" over the centuries. According to Christian tradition, the Images of God "Not made by Hands" (Mandylion, Vera Icon), was a holy relic consisting of a square or rectangle of cloth upon which a miraculous image of the face of Jesus had been imprinted-the first icon ("image").
