Abstract
The study is an insight into the thought culture of the ľudák émigrés after the establishment of the Slovak Republic in 1993 and focuses on the "comeback" of Štefan Polakovič, an emigrant and supporter of the neo-ľudák narrative. The article concentrates on his thoughts about the history of Slovakia, while researching from what facts Š.
Polakovič creates his narrative and interpretes them. At the same time, it attempts to capture his opinions and to incorporate the conception into the context of Mečiar's Politics of History
