Abstract
This Article is focused on the influence of the actual sanction system for positive doping. There have been comments from the McLaren "Independent" Investigation Report about the systematic doping in Russia.
This presented some possibilities of how to tackle the current unbearable state of (retroactive) the impact of the punishments for positive doping and whether you are simply a Russian citizen. This has stripped the motivation out of the top (Russian) athletes.
This has only marginally focused on some of the consequences these sanctions have had on the fans' attitudes.
