Abstract

The paper entitled "Archaeology of late hunter-gatherers at the Sixth Nile Cataract, central Sudan", registered originally as a poster, provided an overview of the key findings of the 2011 - 2018 research into the late prehistoric occupation in the western part of Jebel Sabaloka in central Sudan. A particular attention was paid to two core sites - Sphinx (SBK.W-60) and Fox Hill (SBK.W-20) - and the hunter-gatherer burial grounds uncovered within these sites.
