Abstract
The paper includes an overview of the most common manifestations of contemporary cyber crime and their basic characteristics (system interference, property cybercrime, identity theft, virtual violence, the black market, sexual abuse, copyright infringement, cyber war). It briefly outlines the legal regulation of the area of cyberspace and especially of cybercrime.
Finally it presents current trends and expected developments in 2016.
