Alena Tichá and her contribution to the voice education of the primary school children

Abstract

This speech shows the contribution of Alena Tichá's work to vocal education. It summarises the results of a survey carried out within the dissertation Alena Tichá and her contribution to the vocal education of children with lower music aptitude at a lower primary level.

It points out the importance of vocal education not only for children but also for adults and its value for our continually accelerating way of life, in which it is and will be more and more necessary to look for a way to become aware of oneself. In this respect Alena Tichá's methodology is an ideal means of singing development for a wide age range.
