Abstract

The study deals with the heyday of Czech and German writing Czech poetry at the courts from Venceslas II to the Luxembourg John and Charles IV. It depicts the cultural, political-dynastical and courtly life and singles out authors known across Europe such as Heinrich von Mügeln, Johannes von Neumarkt and contemporary chronicles and legends.
