Abstract
The Czech woman appears in the works of Prague German-speaking authors as an object of (erotic) desire, as an "awakening" from the melancholy and lethargy, as a good-natured helper or empathetic partner. Also portrayed is her strong emotionalism admired by the German men, which often becomes a tragic fatality.
