The book aims to help to introduce the issue of quality of physics education into the Czech educational discourse. It concentrates mainly on three investigations - a longitudinal study of the quality of physics teaching of experienced teachers, an investigation of the quality of physics teaching of novice teachers and a comparison of the views of the researcher and the teacher.
The instrument ZAKVAF was used in the research. It involves 26 indicators (parameters) of the quality of physics teaching, which were drawn up on the basis of expert investigation.
