The author informs in his report about the conference of teachers of mother tongue, organized in September 2018 by the Department of Czech Language and Literature at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Palacký University in Olomouc. The conference, which followed a series of previous didactic conferences organized by this department, was attended by Czech, Slovak and Slovenian referees and discussed the current issues of mother tongue didactics - curriculum content, curriculum documents, use of electronic resources in teaching and new approaches to teaching literature
