Abstrakt
The lecture deals with Czech clitics mi,ti,si functioning as particles as well as with particle the particle jako. It focuses on the modifications of illocutionary force occuring in the use the mentioned units (involvement of the speaker and/or the addressee concerning the propositional content of the utterance, shifts in sincerity condition, foregrounding of certain constituents).
