A study on Andrej Stankovič's early poetry. I suggest that although the previous commentators denied it altogether, semantic meaning plays an important role in Stankovič's early poems, even if it often steps out from very complicated and ambiguous syntactic constructions and sometimes, it totally steps back in favour of another aspects of speech.
Stankovič's poems show the unpredictable and groundless becoming of sense, wherein the importance and hierarchy of individual aspects of the situation are fought about always anew.
