Abstract
The study demonstrates on example of a well-known Austrian writer and during the First World War also propagandist Alexander Roda-Roda haw the work of beautiful literature can act as a tool of subliminal indoctrination. A humorous story is, by its very nature, a pledoyer for the Great German solution to the unification of Germany.
