Abstract
Presented study deals with concrete methods of supporting reading comprehension while teaching foreign languages. In the first part it defines a good reader and conditions in which comprehension can be developed.
Next part introduces methods and shows some examples. In conclusion it brings recommendations for teaching comprehension.
