Mechanical properties of thermo-mechanically treated extruded Mg-Zn-based alloys

Abstract

Mechanical properties of extruded Mg alloys are significantly influenced by the activation of extension twins during compression along the extrusion direction (ED) because of a strong texture with balas planes oriented parallel to ED.
