Abstract
In the monograph, we examine primary and secondary discourse connectives in Czech. The analysis is carried out on the data of the Prague Discourse Treebank 2.0 (PDiT).
The results of the research are presented in four parts. The first one focuses on delimitation and characteristics of discourse connectives in Czech, the second one describes annotation of connectives in the PDiT and demonstrates its evaluation, the third one presents results of this annotation, and the fourth one discusses linguistic principles and tendencies in using discourse connectives.
