Abstract
The article deals with the operation occuring in complex sentences with verbum dicendi or verbum sentiendi as a matrix sentence. The originally subordinated clause (representing the complement of the matrix verb) is lifted to an initial position and a complex sentence with reversed order of clauses emerges.
