Abstract
The importance and the value of the local cultural heritage remain mostly undervalued in the Czech Republic. Both the educationists, who followed the logic saying that it is necessary that is necesasary to educate to gain respect for the cultural and historical heritage,and the experts from various branches, who tried to refer to the importance of the cultural heritage as a whole, participated during the laste decade whwn deling with this problematics.
Nowadays the concept of how the cooperation of schools and the memoryinstitutions, such as museums, galleries, cultural monuments, outdoor museums and other organistions whose program includes the cultural heriatge management has been thoroughly elaborated.
