Abstract
A review of the novel (the first work) of the author of Serbian origin, Sofia Kordić, coming from the territory of today's Croatia and living for a long time in Prague. The novel is partly autobiographical, a female view of the penetration of civil war and personal life in emigration (in the Czech Republic).
