Zuzana Svobodová based her paper on the importance of education with ancient authors, she analyses the broader context of selected key terms in the area of education and points out the historical transformation of what is called education. She raises the issue of education as an example of manifestation of a relationship - owing to the radical openness of humans - towards what goes beyond them and what they cannot control.
If the task of education is to lead to such acting, in which the values found as the highest will manifest themselves, thus help to ensure that such values become apparent, then the sacredness of education manifests itself at the same time in education, as the care of the soul, as it mediates something that is not fully available either to the educator or to the one that is being educated; what or who is not within human power but yet can manifest itself in one's life.
