Abstract
The lexicon entry presents the life and work of a German writer with Czech roots. Part of her work is literature for adult readers - especially novels with topics from South America - and literature for children and youth - especially problem-oriented novels with ecological themes such as Die Wolke and World War II theme.
Out of them the best known is the Rosinkawiese - damals und heute trilogy devoted to childhood in the Orlické Mountains and the departure of the family to Germany after the end of the war.
