Abstract
The lexicon entry presents the life and work of one of the most notable German female writers for children and youth and translators of the last third of the 20th and beginning of the 21st century. He is the author of mainly problem-oriented novels for youth.
In her works are motives of Jewishness very notable. Newly she translated The Diary of Anne Frank and is also the author of the critical edition of this work.
