The study focuses on leaflet publishing, ie the publication of shorter printed texts describing and celebrating important events associated with the political and social rise of Maxmilian II. Habsburg (1527-1576).
The oldest son and successor of Ferdinand I was admitted to the Czech king in 1549, in 1562 crowned in Prague by the Czech king, in the same year in Frankfurt crowned by the Roman king and in 1563 crowned in Pressburg by the Hungarian king. The subject of the research is the leaflets directly related to these events, as well as accompanying panegyric prints, especially those whose content or authors are related to Prague and the Czech Kingdom.
