Abstract
The article "Časopisy pro ženy, ženské časopisy, časopisy o ženách - polyperspektivní prezentace a reprezentace žen v časopisech první republiky" / "Journals for women, about women and women s journals - presentation and representation of women in the Czechoslovak Journals" focuses on the very popular phenomenon of the Czechoslovak republic between the wars. The journals are depicted as a specific representation of modern Cůzech culture with many paradoxes and problems.
The image of New women was a hybrid and unstable, opened to negotiation. The article does not concentrate only on leftist images nor fashion ones, but searches the image of Modern Czechoslovak women, how it was presented by the liberal feminist movement.
