Abstract

The article offers an overview of the specific period in the history of television broadcasting in Czechoslovakia, the preparation of the multichannel broadcasting represented by the Czechoslovak Television's Channel Two. It focuses on its cultural potential between 1968-1970, its programming and content, which visibly stood in cultural opposition to the cultural politics of the Communist regime.
