The Phrasal Attribute in Czech and Japanese: Contrastive Overview

Abstrakt

The chapter provides a comparison of attribute types in Czech and Japanese. It attempts to show that despite numerous outlined typological differences, attribute classification developed by František Daneš (1987) can be successfully applied to Japanese language.

Morever, it is argued that such application is very efficient since it highlights the existing differences which are not systemic nature but rather differnces in tendencies.
