Pollination Syndromes

Publication at Faculty of Science |
2018

Abstract

Pollination syndromes are a convergent set of phenotypical traits of flowers evolved to attract particular group of pollinators. In the related article (pages CLXIX–CLXXII), we review the defined syndromes and present current discussions on their validity.

Although some authors have recently doubted their general validity, they remain an undisputed tool for an understanding of general co-evolutionary trends in pollination relationships.
