Abstrakt
This chapter seeks to highlight the ontological-methodological changes that have marked the development of the historiography of Czech and Slovak economic history over the course of the twentieth century. This study is the first to look into the continuity of institutions, methodologies, topics and schools and also into the discontinuities produced by the totalitarian ideologies repeatedly interfering in the life of the field.
