Modeling of acid-base balance according to balance principle

Abstract

There are two approaches today in the acid-base balance clinical trial. So-called. the classical approach of the "Danish school" Siggaard-Andersen and his co-authors and the so-called modern approach according to Stewart and Fencl.

The balance approach we discussed at the previous MEDSOFT seminar links both theories. Using the simulation model it is possible to simulate various pathogenesis of acid-base disorders and to monitor their manifestations both from the classical and modern theories acid-base balance.
