Abstract
Deixis and indexicality are defined and characterized as a relevant semiotic phenomenon that is often related with other social and cultural phenomena of a given society or culture. The second lecture in the series called "Linguistic Anthropology of Central Europe" - a course taught at Faculty of Arts and Philosophy, Charles University in Prague in Spring 2017.
