The idea to manage school according to TQM / EFQM principles is almost thirty years old but these dynamic models of quality management in Czech schools are unique. The Lower Saxony Vocational Schools have been implementing the model since 2004, when it became a quality standard for all schools.
The article focuses on the history and specifics of the so-called KAM model on the example of a particular school. The results of the qualitative survey are presented.
The results indicated the necessity of perceiving the model in its complexity, the importance of the area of school management and the internal motivation to change.
