Abstract
Liver surgery has advanced a lot thanks to sophisticated techniques that have allowed us to perform complex procedures without the need for blood transfers. There has been a very significant shift in the long-term symptomatic survival of patients with high quality of life.
All this with the help of a close multidisciplinary cooperation of a number of medical fields in the diagnosis, treatment and dispensary care of patients with JMKRK. Despite major advances, liver resection limits still exist, but will surely be further overcome in the near future.
