Abstract
First this book review watches how the author works. Then it tries to define the author's approach to Old Testament Theology.
Routledge does not describe, what he means by his thematic approach, but he talks especially about a canonical approach, a narrative approach and historical criticism and he explains what he accepts from all these approaches. This is a way for a reader to put it together and to understand the Routledge's point of view.
The most important and truly valuable thing about this book is that all the theological work is built on the thorough work with the text of the Old Testament (the exegesis) as the biblical references show.
