Abstract
This article deals with an analysis of the origins of Western logocentric thinking and its possibilities and limits of thinking, accepting and respecting the other and otherness. It presents and analyses alternatives of otherness that may take the form of other, alien, disturbingly dissimilar, otherwise, different, without which they cannot be themselves.
