Abstract
The book narrates Orthodox relationships with the West, especially after the Bolshevik Revolution. Russian emigres were the major Orthodox presence in the West.
They came to see themselves also through Western eyes. Their theology had a decisive formative influence on 20th century Orthodoxy.
