The critical review analyzes collective monograph edited by American folklorist Jeannie Bank Thomas titled "Putting the Supernatural in Its Place. Folklore, the Hypermodern, and the Ethereal" published in 2012 by The University of Utah Press which consists of seven essays by leading American folklorists dealing with issue of supernatural in contemporary cultures.
