Abstract
The paper describes the first season of The Porti-Miamou Project in the south central Crete (Greece) in August 2015, focused on the documentation of the site of Porti Tou Bairami to Papouri (dated to the Bronze Age) and a small-scale surface survey (800 x 800 m) in the vicinity of this site. It describes the site, the survey methodology and the preliminary resumé of the survey movable finds.
A significant discovery was a small ancient quarry (probably of a Graeco-Roman date), which is presented in the last chapter of the paper.
