The chapter describes the history of the Map Collection, the procedure of professional processing, digitization and accessibility of funds. It also deals with the content of the unique collection, old prints and master works including the entry of Camocio's maps in the UNESCO Memory of the World lists.
It describes vedute in old prints, in atlases and also in maps. It explains the procedure of processing them, both the classic one as a description of graphic type of a document and also innovative one as analytical description.
The next section describes the process of selecting vedute and their processing in a book. The last but very important part is a creation of digital images into veduty.cz database.
They were created as cutouts from existing digital images but also as a new digitization on small scanners.
