Abstract
In her text, the author critically examines Jan Bierhanzl's position presented in his book L'action faible. De l'éthique a la politique.
Firstly, the author treats Levinas' concept of ethics and its relation to politics, using Lévinas position to the Near-East-Conflict as a starting point. Secondly, she refuses, on a more general level, Jan Bierhanzl's demand of a "more ethical" politics, suggesting that this very step destroys the specificity of the political sphere and endangers its freedom.
